Referral terms

How free launch months and GM referral codes work, and their limits. They add to the terms of use.

Your launch month

Everyone who signs up for the beta, GM or player, gets one free month at launch.

Referral codes

• Only GMs get a referral code. You find yours, and its share link, on the welcome page.
• Each person who signs up with your code earns you one free month, whether they sign up as a GM or as a player.
• You can earn at most 12 free months through referrals. Sign-ups after that still count as yours but earn no more months.

When a referral counts

• A player who signs up with your code counts when they sign up.
• A GM who signs up with your code counts once their sign-up is linked to the app (they sign in to the app with the same Apple account, or type their claim code there) and they have saved a one-shot they generated in the app. If they generated one before linking, it counts when they link. A one-shot copied from the shared pool doesn't count. Until then it shows as waiting on your welcome page. If they delete their sign-up before that, it never counts.
• Each sign-up can be referred once. If someone deletes their sign-up and signs up again, the new sign-up counts as a new one, once, with whatever code it uses; the month the old one earned was taken back when it was deleted.
• If the person you referred deletes their sign-up, the month it earned you is taken back, whether it had counted yet or not, so deleting and signing up again can never earn a second month for the same person.

What doesn't count

• Signing up yourself with your own code, or making extra sign-ups (with other accounts, or for other people without them knowing) to earn months.
• Buying, selling or trading codes or sign-ups.

We may void any referral month that looks like it came from any of these, or from any other misuse. Our team can void a month on your ledger; it then stops counting toward your months. Write to support@instantdungeononeshot.com to ask why, or if you think we got one wrong.

What a free month is

• A launch promotion, recorded with your sign-up. It is not money and not a payment for anything.
• It has no cash value and can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for money.
• How months are used is decided when pricing is. There are no prices yet.
• When unused months expire: [to be decided: expiry of free months].

Changes and ending

We may change or end the referral promotion. Months that have already counted: [to be confirmed: whether counted months are kept if the promotion changes or ends].
