Beta terms

Draft of 4 November 2026

The beta is an early, pre-release version of Instant Dungeon One-Shot. These terms say what to expect. They add to the terms of use.

What the beta is

Invitations

Invitations go out by email in waves. Signing up puts you on the list; it doesn't promise an invitation or a date. GMs who signed up with Apple use the same Apple account in the app; GMs who signed up with Google or Facebook type their claim code once in the app.

Pre-release means

Feedback

Telling us what works and what doesn't is welcome and never required. If you send feedback, we may use it to improve Instant Dungeon One-Shot without owing you anything for it. [to be confirmed: feedback licence wording, reviewed by counsel]

Free months are not payment

Everyone who signs up gets one free month at launch, and GMs can earn more through referrals (referral terms). These months are a launch promotion. They are never payment for testing, for feedback or for anything else you do in the beta, and testing earns nothing.

Emails

During the beta we only send service emails: your code, your invite and your free month. You can turn them off on the welcome page.

When the beta ends

We will say by email before the beta ends. What happens to beta data then (one-shots, characters, your sign-up): [to be confirmed: what is kept, moved or deleted when the beta ends].

Leaving

You can leave at any time: delete your sign-up (Delete my data) and your app account in the app. Questions: support@instantdungeononeshot.com.
